No Sympathy Event Terms
NO SYMPATHY EVENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Law of Ambition LLC
These Event Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") apply to any event (the "Event") operated by Law of Ambition LLC, a California limited liability company, together with its delivery partners (collectively, the "Company," "we," "us," or "our").
-
The specific details of each Event, including its dates, location, activities, inclusions, and fee, are set out at the point of sale and in your booking confirmation or Participant Agreement.
-
By registering, paying, or participating, you ("you," "your," or "Participant") confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Binding Agreement
-
These Terms form a binding agreement between you and the Company.
-
Payment of the Event fee constitutes your acceptance of these Terms in full.
-
If you do not agree, do not register and do not pay.
2. All Sales Final. No Refunds.
-
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. THE EVENT FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE IN FULL AND IN PART, UNDER ANY AND ALL CIRCUMSTANCES.
-
This includes, without limitation: your decision not to attend, late arrival, partial attendance, leaving before the Event ends, your choice not to take part in any activity, illness, injury, scheduling conflict, travel disruption, or any change in personal circumstances.
-
No refund, in whole or in part, will be issued for any reason at any time.
3. Non-Transferable
-
Your seat is reserved for you alone.
-
Seats are non-transferable and may not be sold, assigned, gifted, or exchanged for a different person, a different date, a different event, or any other product or service.
-
Each seat admits one named Participant.
4. No Guarantees
-
The Company makes no guarantee, representation, or warranty of any kind regarding any outcome, result, benefit, skill gained, connection made, or personal or business return from the Event.
-
Descriptions of the Event are illustrative of intent, not promises of any specific result.
-
The itinerary, instructors, locations, equipment, and activities are subject to change.
5. Seat Confirmation and Eligibility
-
Registration may be by application and review. The Company may accept or decline any applicant at its sole discretion before payment is taken.
-
A seat is confirmed only when payment has cleared in full.
-
The Company may verify your identity, age, and eligibility at any time, and may deny participation to anyone who does not meet the requirements in these Terms, with no refund.
6. Assumption of Risk: General
-
You understand that the Event involves inherently dangerous activities that carry a real risk of serious bodily injury, permanent disability, and death.
-
These risks cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken.
-
You voluntarily choose to participate with full knowledge of the danger, and you assume all risk of loss, injury, or death arising from your participation, whether caused by the activity itself, the conduct of others, equipment, the venue, or otherwise.
7. Assumption of Risk: Specific Activities
Your Event may include one or more of the following high risk activities. You assume all risks associated with each activity that forms part of the Event you attend:
-
Live fire. Use of live firearms and live ammunition. Risks include gunshot wounds, hearing and vision damage, burns, and death. You agree to follow every safety instruction and range command without exception.
-
Skydiving. Exit from an aircraft at altitude and freefall. Risks include equipment malfunction, hard or off target landing, collision, aircraft risk, serious injury, paralysis, and death.
-
High speed track driving. Driving on a closed circuit at speed. Risks include collision, loss of vehicle control, rollover, fire, serious injury, and death. You agree to follow all instructor and circuit commands at all times.
-
Other physical or adventure activities. Any other physically demanding or adventure based activity included in your Event carries its own risk of serious injury or death, which you assume.
8. Waivers Required, Including Partner Waivers
-
Before taking part in any activity, you must read and sign all liability waivers and assumption of risk releases required by the Company.
-
The Company's delivery partners run their own activities and may require their own separate waivers and health or eligibility forms. This applies in particular to any skydiving drop zone and any track driving circuit, and may apply to a firearms range.
-
Partner waivers are in addition to, and do not replace, the Company's waiver.
-
You must complete every required waiver before the relevant activity.
-
Refusal to sign any required waiver, whether the Company's or a partner's, results in denial of participation in the affected activity or the Event, with no refund.
9. Provided Firearms and Equipment
-
Firearms, ammunition, and protective equipment provided by the Company's delivery partners will be maintained and operated in compliance with applicable law.
-
Skydiving rigs and track vehicles are provided and maintained by the respective licensed operators.
10. Personal Firearms
-
Participants who bring their own firearms must ensure they are legally owned, lawfully transported, properly maintained, and in safe working condition.
-
You must comply with all California and federal law governing the ownership, possession, and transport of firearms and ammunition.
-
California firearm laws are strict. It is your responsibility to understand and follow them.
-
The Company and its partners may inspect and refuse the use of any personal firearm at their sole discretion.
11. Age Requirement
-
All Participants must be at least 21 years of age.
-
Proof of age is required.
-
There are no exceptions.
12. Medical Fitness and Duty to Disclose
-
You confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to participate.
-
You must disclose to the Company, in writing and in advance, any medical condition, injury, allergy, medication, physical limitation, mental health condition, or other circumstance that could affect your safety or the safety of others, or that could be aggravated by any activity.
-
Certain activities, including skydiving, carry health, weight, and fitness requirements set by the delivery partners. Meeting those requirements is your responsibility.
-
Any failure to disclose a relevant condition is at your own risk, and the Company may exclude you from any activity on safety grounds with no refund.
13. Responsibility for Your Own Safety
-
You accept personal responsibility for your own safety throughout the Event.
-
You agree to follow all safety briefings, instructions, and commands given by the Company and its delivery partners, to use all protective equipment as directed, and to act within your own limits.
-
You understand that your choices and conduct directly affect your safety and the safety of others.
14. Alcohol and Drugs
-
The use of alcohol or illegal drugs before or during any activity is strictly prohibited.
-
The Company may deny participation, with no refund, to anyone it reasonably believes to be under the influence.
-
This is a safety rule and is not negotiable.
15. Code of Conduct
-
You agree to follow all safety instructions, to act responsibly, and to put the safety of yourself and others first.
-
Any behavior the Company or a delivery partner considers reckless, dangerous, disruptive, or disrespectful will result in immediate removal from the Event, with no refund and no further obligation by the Company.
16. Dietary and Allergy Information
-
You are responsible for informing the Company of any food allergies or dietary requirements in advance.
-
The Company will make reasonable efforts to accommodate but does not guarantee any specific accommodation.
17. Photography and Media Release
-
You grant the Company and its partner organizations (No Sympathy for the Lazy, Law of Ambition, Red Wolf) the perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty free right and permission to photograph and record you, and to use your name, likeness, image, voice, and any photographs, video, audio, or other media of you captured during the Event.
-
This use is for marketing, promotional, advertising, and commercial purposes, in any medium now known or later developed, without further approval, compensation, credit, or notice.
-
You waive any right to inspect or approve such use and release the Company from any claim arising from it.
18. Limitation of Liability and Indemnification
-
To the fullest extent permitted by California law, the Company, its owners, members, employees, contractors, instructors, and delivery partners shall not be liable for any injury, death, loss, damage, or harm of any kind arising out of or connected to the Event or your participation.
-
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company and its partners from any and all claims, demands, damages, costs, and legal actions brought by you or on your behalf arising from your participation.
-
This clause survives the Event.
19. Personal Property

25. Governing Law
-
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
-
Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
26. Severability
-
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
27. Entire Agreement and Acknowledgment
